This hotel suits me perfectly with 24-hour reception, a lovely bar, and a great fitness center. The staff even helped me find places with good exchange rates on my first stay! I'll be back for Easter.

A shocking room experience!

The generous breakfast selection kept us fueled for our adventures. The staff's effort to help made us feel welcomed despite the struggles.

However, the room had serious issues. The air conditioner was loud, and a cleaner entered well before check-out despite the do not disturb sign.

No direct shuttle to the city center.

The Hilton Florence Metropole has some great qualities that made my stay nice. The staff genuinely seemed friendly and went out of their way to assist me. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and provided a comfortable space to unwind after my adventures around Florence. The breakfast had a decent variety, and I particularly enjoyed the option to access the executive lounge. However, I found the shuttle service to be a major letdown. It no longer takes guests directly into the city center, which forced me to spend more on taxis. This caused some inconvenience in my plans, especially since the tram stop was a bit of a trek. The shower could use some better cleaning, as the bathroom door wasn't spotless upon arrival. I'd love to stay here again if they make improvements with the shuttle service and room maintenance.

A Relaxing Retreat Just Outside Florence

We enjoyed a peaceful stay over nine nights, with a spacious King Room and incredibly comfortable bedding. The staff were welcoming, and we particularly appreciated Sam, the shuttle bus driver, who provided excellent local tips. Dining at the nearby restaurants was a delightful surprise! Consider planning your shuttle rides in advance.

Getting to town felt like training for a marathon, and the Wi-Fi access might as well come with a treasure map. Not ideal when you're on vacation!

The King Room with City View was pretty spacious, and the cleanliness was on point. The bed was comfy, which is a major plus. But, the shower had some leaks and the bathroom felt a bit outdated. Not a big deal since I only needed the room for sleep, but it could use a refresh. The view was decent—nothing to write home about.

My family and I had a very troubling experience during our stay. The first room we were given had issues with the door, and despite trying a second room, it also had problems that made it uncomfortable to stay. The reception staff, while attempting to help, did not resolve our issues satisfactorily. Although we received some compensation, my overall experience was far from what I expected. The environment seemed lacking in maintenance, which added to our dissatisfaction.
